I-D-LAB is a design consultancy that seeks to engage human experience through interiors and brand design. We believe in contextual design; from a house to a hotel lobby the space should involve but not assail. Recent projects have included individual houses, residential developments and commercial spaces. I-D-LAB is committed to an ecological approach, not just through materials and practice, but understanding how a building connects to its environment. A well designed space should feel like it could not have been anything else. It should leave a trace that brings you back. We work collaboratively with clients to make sense of a building and how it will be used. Our design exhibits strong cohesion between utility and beauty. We believe aesthetic contemplation can improve wellbeing and that design can achieve this.
